Hello! I’m Chip Kohrman. I spend my time writing, talking, and making works of art. Then the sun comes up, and I go to back to work as your Electronic Data Discovery Manager. You might recognize me from blockbusters like Return of the Data. I play the ruddy redhead who saves the universe with a text editor and three Post-It notes.
Now, it wasn’t always that glamorous. I used to load your semi-trucks, scrub your toilets, and make your glasses in about an hour. But even then, I came back home to write, talk, and make works of art. And that’s because I can’t stop thinking about things. I suppose there’s a pill for that, but meanwhile…
This is the inbox for my curiosity.
I’ll explore ideas and sort them out as I go. And I plan to contradict myself. In other words, this blog won’t turn into a manifesto any time soon. Let’s just say I’m going to try things on in front of everyone, and you can tell me how thin / portly / dashing / haggard I look.
When you say something, I make room in my art-making for your thoughts and feelings. That’s how my mom raised me… to make a guest feel at home. My goal is to support multiple points of view in my art-making. You help me do that when you participate.
Why should you read this blog?
Because you can steal my ideas and become famous before I look up from my computer farm at work! Or maybe because you and I are in the same boat. You have boring buttons to push all day too, but you really want to push the Big Red Button! Read this blog if you like being curious! Read this blog if you want to be curious-er!
I’ll share my art-making, tips, thoughts, and feelings.
